1969 Press Photo ABM radar expert Wolfgang Panofsky at Foreign Relations hearing

Dr. Wolfgang Panofsky of the Stanford University Linear Accelerator Center testified before the Senate Foreign Relations subcommittee in Washington yesterday. Panofsky told the panel he had "some serious engineering criticism" of the Safeguard antiballistic missile system which was the subject of the hearing.
