This is Lester Pearson who is leading Canada's Liberal Party in a power struggle against Prime Minister John Diefenbaker's Conservative Party with the national elections to be held April 8. As the campaign enters its final week, the Liberals appear to be holding a narrow edge over the Conservatives. These are 1962 and 1963 pictures.
