1970 Press Photo NFO farmers destroy potatoes to protest low prices in Idaho

American Falls, Idaho. Members of the National Farmers Organization heave potatoes off trucks. They are part of more than three million pounds dumped and later burned in an NFO protest of low prices. More than 190 trucks hauled potatoes from as far as 150 miles away for the demonstration.
