1967 Press Photo Louisiana anti-poverty program leaders Prehenski and Lang

The Reverend Robert Prehenski, assistant pastor of St. Paul's Roman Catholic Church in Lafayette, Louisiana, led a group of about 200 residents of southwest Louisiana to Austin, Texas, Thursday to try to speed up the anti-poverty program in their area. Acting Director Astor Kirk (left) of the Southwest Division of the Office of Economic Opportunity met with the group.
