1960 Press Photo South Korean President Yun Po-Sun resigns - now33448

It was announced today that South Korean President Yun Po-Sun (above), has resigned. The statement over Yun's name said, "I regret that I made so little contribution to the nation that a military revolution has occurred." Yun was the only constitutionally instituted official left in office after a military coup this week seized power and forced the resignation of Premier John M. Chang. This picture was made in August, 1960.
