Wisconsin Senator William Proxmire tells today of being held up Thursday night in Washington by two men who threatened to "blow my head off." Proxmire said he told the men: "Go ahead and shoot because I have terminal cancer and will be dead in two weeks anyway." He said he then shouted and the men ran away. He said he is not ill.
