1969 Press Photo Harvard University's Nathan Pusey orders demonstrators to leave

Dr. Nathan M. Pusey, President of Harvard, gave demonstrators an ultimatum to be out by 5 p.m. yesterday after they took over Harvard's University Hall in a protest aimed in part at the school's ROTC program. Twelve hours after the deadline more than 400 policemen swept 200 demonstrators out of the building in a clash that left 30 persons hurt and about 200 under arrest.
