1976 Press Photo Beirut's Farida Rahme to compete in Innsbruck Winter Olympics

Farida Rahme of Beirut points to the snow-covered Tyrolean mountains surrounding Innsbruck, Saturday. Lebanon had hoped to send a full team-two men and two women to the 12th Winter Olympics, but because of the civil war only Farida could represent her country. The 23-year-old graduate who speaks five languages, will take part in the women's slalom competition.
