1966 Press Photo Sgt, Havilland examines bayonet recovered from Lake Michigan

Sgt. Erwin Havilland of the Chicago Police Department closely examines a bayonet which the U.S. Coast Guard recovered from Lake Michigan near the residence where Valerie Percy was slain. Investigators have been searching for clues in the fatal stabbing of the pretty 21-year-old daughter of Illinois Republican leader Charles Percy.
