1959 Press Photo Carol Owens testifies at hearing of teacher Cecil Cook of CA

Carol Owens, above, 17, a student in Van Nuys high school, testified today she was shocked and embarrassed by questions and answers in a physiology class conducted by Cecil M. Cook, 37. She was a witness at a hearing conducted by a state bureau to determine whether Cook is guilty of unprofessional conduct and moral turpitude. If convicted, he could lose his teaching credentials.
