1961 Press Photo Burma's Prime Minister U Nu attends prayerful ceremony

Prime Minister U Nu of Burma folds hands in Buddhist prayer last week during special ceremonies marking the anniversary of the death of Lord Buddha. The festival,called the Full Moon of Kason, is held annually on May 1. One of special features of the holiday consists of the prime minister attending prayer with 2,500 monks.
