Hoffa is all smiles as he leaves the national headquarters of the Teamsters Union tonight after a word of a compromise settlement of a U.S. District Court suit paving the way for him to take office immediately as teamsters' president. The suit, filed by dissident union members, had asked permanent restraint to keep Hoffa from the helm.
