Albert Pass, 53, of Middlesboro, Kentucky, smiles as he leaves the Erie County (PA) Courthouse after he was found guilty Tuesday afternoon for his part in the Yablonski family slayings. The highest ranking former United Mine Workers official charged, he was accused of using union funds to hire killers of UMW dissident Joseph Yablonski and his wife and daughter. Pass was convicted of three counts of murder in the first degree.
