Alfred Palacio, 80-year-old Socialist elected to Argentine senate in Sunday's election, wore a shawl over one shoulder when he voted at a polling place in Buenos Aires. Palacio, who repeatedly denounced "Yankee imperialism," won support of Communists and young admirers of Cuba's Fidel Castro.
