Jones and The Cardinal--RCA Records star Glen Jones appeared at New York's Saint Patrick's Cathedral last week where he offered impassioned Gospel in commemoration of the "National Day of Mourning for Victims of Violence in the Republic of South Africa." Also present at the spirited gathering of thousands of civilian sympathizers were New York Mayor Ed Koch. The Reverend Benjamin Hooks, Executive Director NAACP, and His Eminence John Cardinal O'Connor, Archbishop of New York, shown above with Jones.
