1975 Press Photo Toronto Metro Zoo's 15-year-old orangutan Mias - now31410

Mias, a 350-pound orangutan at Toronto's Metro Zoo, appears to be doing a little jig. Though the 15-year-old ape looks fierce, orangutans are really peaceful apes. The new zoo has four orangutans in its Indo-Malaysia pavilion and each day two are put on display for the benefit of visitors to the zoo.
