Holding Oscar, a one-eyed screech owl temporarily adopted by her family, is Mrs. Mark Vanderhoof, who said the owl revived after spending two weeks in the family deep freeze. It was put there when the family decided it had been killed in a collision with their camper vehicle and determined to save it for a taxidermist.
