1965 Press Photo Vietnam War pro and con rally at Manhattan College, New York

Supporting and opposing the United States position in Vietnam--are carried by Manhattan College students at a rally held on the school campus in Riverdale, New York, yesterday. Some 600 students attending the rally (top photo) were picketed by approximately 30 others with opposite views (bottom photo). After speeches, some of the students turned on the pacifists group shouting:"Burn those signs." At least one was.
