Two men and a woman sailed into Los Angeles harbor yesterday in a 39-foot schooner after a 57-day, non-stop sail from Yokohama, Japan. Standing in their craft after docking are, left to right: Josef Pachernegg, 39, owner and skipper of the boat; his Australian fiancee, Benita B. Burge, 38, a nurse from Wewak, New Guinea; and along for the ride William Gasson, 29, a Reuters correspondent.
