Walter Mondale, Minnesota Attorney General, lends a thoughtful ear to Vice President-elect Hubert Humphrey as the two attended the annual banquet of the Farmers Union Grain Terminal Association in St. Paul last night. Mondale was named this week to succeed Humphrey in the Senate when he resigns to become President Johnson's top aide.
