1964 Press Photo Madalyn Murray shows bruises as family departs for Hawaii

Mrs. Madalyn Murray, avowed atheist, show bruises she claims she suffered when police came to her home to pick up Susan Abramovitz, center. It was later revealed that Miss Abramovitz, under court order to live with her aunt and uncle was Bill Murray's, right, bride. The Murray family left today for Hawaii because Mrs. Murray said they feared for their lives. The picture was made yesterday before they departed.
