Mrs. Ingrid Montano, who came under fire for inviting a homosexual to speak to her senior sociology class at Phoenix Union High School, handed in her resignation tonight. She plans to move to San Francisco with her husband and study law. She said her principal and some teachers supported her, but she's quitting education because "compromise is a part of teaching, and I believe in speaking out honestly."
