Thousands of persons stayed up til early this morning to view the lunar eclipse and many were disappointed either by clouds or by expecting a compete blackout. Actually the moon only darkened and turned reddish. The above shot was made at 1:21 a.m. Thursday at Monroe in 28 degrees clear weather.
