1969 Press Photo Snow covers waterless Niagara Falls riverbed in New York

Description
Eight inches of new snow cover the waterless riverbed on the American side of Niagara Falls Sunday. The view is from Goat Island toward the Rainbow Bridge. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers blocked the torrent with a cofferdam June 10 to conduct tests on the riverbed.
