Senator Frank Carlson, R-KS (right) visited with former Kansas governor Alf Landon, 1936 Republican presidential nominee, Wednesday morning at a Topeka breakfast where Carlson announced he would not seek reelection. Landon, now retired from active politics, lives in Topeka. Senator Carlson said he expects to return to Kansas.
