The lend-lease cruiser, Milwaukee, renamed Murmanek by the Soviet, riding at anchor today five miles north of Lewes, Delaware with an estimated 800 Russian crew aboard. The warship,turned over to Russia in 1944, is the first of the American vessels to be returned by the Soviet Nation and the official return ceremony is to take place Friday. The Russian navy ensign flag flies at the stern. Along side is a Coast Guard picket boat.
