1972 Press Photo Feldmans, Soviet Jewish family, visit Attorney General Mitchell

Attorney General John N. Mitchell, center, receives Semen Mordkovich Feldman and his family at the Justice Department today. The Feldmans, who landed in New York Wednesday, are the first family of Soviet Jews to arrive in the United States under parole authority of the attorney general. The family is comprised of wife Emma and children Dina, 10, and Igor, 7. The HIAS buttons refer to Hebrew Immigration Aide Society.
