1968 Press Photo Cape Town photographer Don McKenzie subject of court order

Cape Town photographer Don McKenzie was enjoined by a court order temporarily restraining him from selling or disposing of photographs relating to the Dr. Philip Elaiberg heart transplant operation. Order was obtained by the National Broadcasting Company who said McKenzie's picturing of he operation threatened to infringe on its contract with Elaiberg and his wife for exclusive photo coverage and interviews before, during and after the operation.
