Retired General Curtis E. LeMay said Sunday he "very definitely" favors resuming the wide scale bombing of North Vietnam as it was done before March 31. LeMay, the vice presidential candidate of the American Independent party specifically said he thinks the Port of Haiphong should be closed, but said he would leave it up to the American military commander in South Vietnam to decide how to close it.
