Airview of the Melbourne Cricket Ground, Melbourne, Australia, which will be the setting for the main events of the eight-day Olympic Games which begin on November 22 of this year. The new portion at lower left will increase the stadium's capacity from 85,000 to 110,000. The Cricket Ground, located within a mile of the center of Melbourne, is one of the best known sports arenas in the British Commonwealth.
