1985 Press Photo Children given emergency treatment at Meadowcrest Hospital

Jennifer Cline, age 3, Angela Skerrett, 4, and Stephen Cline, 5, drink a mixture of liquified charcoal in the emergency room of Meadowcrest Hospital in Belle Chase. The children had eaten poisonous mushrooms and were given emergency treatment. Angela was held overnight for observation while the other two were released.
