1968 Press Photo Mexican Soldiers Guard University of Mexico Entrance

Mexican soldiers and an armored car stand guard this morning at one of the entrances to the University of Mexico in Mexico City. The Mexican Army has occupied the university grounds since September, when they drove out striking students. The students had held the university beginning July 30 when they went on strike.
