Benedetto Cardinal Aloisi Masella, Camerlengo of the Roman Catholic Church who became interim administrator of the church following the death today of Pope John XXIII, is shown as he leaves the Vatican grounds in a car tonight. He will be 84 late this month. As Cardinal Chamberlain he became temporal administrator in the Church as a "first among equals" in the College of Cardinals.
