Jackson E. McVey, 39-year-old jobless nuclear technician from Houston, Texas, is pictured in Washington last week where he is seeking government payment for exposure to atomic dust. The Atomic Energy Commission said today it is hopeful some aid could be given McVey. He told a Senate House Atomic Energy Committee a capsule of highly radioactive iridium dust broke open, contaminating him and laboratory in which he was working. Incident happened March 13, 1957.
