U.S. Ambassador Douglas MacArthur, left, and Japanese Foreign MInister AAiichire Fujiyama, right, exchange Security Treat Treaty Ratification Documents after signing of Security pact at the Foreign Minister's heavily guarded official residence in Tokyo today. The exchange, staged against a background of month lond leftist riots attempting to drive Japan into neutrality, makes immediately effective at treaty continuing American military bases in Japan another 10 years.
