William Manchester, who authored the book "The Death of a President," covers up the microphone yesterday as he is interviewed on the television-radio program "Meet the Press," aired from Washington by the National Broadcasting Company. Manchester said he believes the differences of opinion between Mrs. John F. Kennedy and Senator Robert F. Kennedy may account in part for the dispute over his book.
