Democratic presidential hopeful Eugene J. McCarthy addresses a reception in Atlantic City, New Jersey, yesterday to which he had invited all delegates to the national convention of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People. McCarthy's appearance came after Roy Wilkins, director of the NAACP, said that the Minnesota senator and his aides were meddling in the civil rights organization's national convention.
