Description
Archbishop Makarios, president of Cyprus, bends over hospital patient badly burned in Turkish serial raid on mountain village of Polis today. The Archbishop spent about an hour visiting wounded in hospital in Paphos a nearby community in northwest Cyprus. A hospital superintendent said the hospital has received 40 dead and 180 wounded since Turkish air attacks began on Friday. Makarios left the scene with tears in his eyes.
