Air Force Captain Robert H. McIntosh, 34, named yesterday as one of the eight test pilots to train for future space flights, checks the mail box with his wife Diane at their home near Edwards Air Force Base in California. McIntosh told newsmen he has always been an avid reader of science fiction and now hopes to become a participant.
