1972 Press Photo Coffins stacked outside collapsed building in Managus

Coffins are stacked outside this collapsed building in Managus, Nicaragua,waiting for use top photo. Many of those killed had to be buried in mass graves or cremated because of the health hazards and few of the victims had the luxury of coffins. At bottom, a soldier stands the rubble of the street and checks a building. Soldiers have orders to shoot looters on sight.
