1973 Press Photo Convicted murderer Aubran Martin escorted to penitentiary

Aubran W. "Buddy" Martin, third from left, one of the gunmen convicted in the Yablonski family slayings, sentenced Wednesday to die in the electric chair, is escorted under heavy protection from the Washington County Prison after being sentenced. Washington County Sheriff Alex Debreczeni carried him to Western Pennsylvania Penitentiary in Pittsburgh. United Mine Workers dissident Joseph Yablonski and his wife and daughter were slain in their Clarksville, Pennsylvania home in December 1969.
