Description
Governor Lester Maddox of Georgia announces Tuesday afternoon that his son, Lester Maddox, Jr., rear, was arrested on burglary charges. Maddox is shown at the Georgia Legislature in Atlanta, January 10, 1967 shortly after he was sworn in as Governor. With his son is his youngest daughter, Virginia. It was young Maddox's second arrest on such a charge.
