1966 Press Photo Lebanese students, U.S. teachers at U.S. Embassy, Lebanon

Thirteen Lebanese students and two American teachers demonstrate at the United States Embassy in Beirut, Lebanon today against the June closing of the American Language Center where some 400 nationals are learning to speak English. An embassy official said the closing was because of a change in policy and lack of funds.
