1969 Press Photo Police blocked hippie Denise Hailoran from entering a school

Hippie spokesman Denise Hailoran finds her way blocked by London police Wednesday as she returned form court where she unsuccessfully pleaded the case of hippies occupying an empty school. Police blocked the entrance to the school which had been a hippie home for three months after the court ruled that the building had been occupied illegally. Police have cleared three similarly occupied buildings in the past week.
