1966 Press Photo Released Michigan prisoner Roy Logan may return to prison

Roy Logan, 66, who only last month won his freedom after a belated appeal of his 1924 conviction in the slaying of his Highland Park, Michigan, sweetheart, is going home to Georgia--and possibly another prison. Logan, who spent 42 years in a Michigan prison, has decided to waive extradition and voluntarily return to Atlanta to face a warrant charging him with escaping a work camp in 1923.
