Senator Henry Jackson, Democratic presidential candidate from Washington, held an airport news conference in Tampa Wednesday and denied a claim that he campaigned in Massachusetts on a one-issue item: busing. "I've never made a single speech in Massachusetts on the subject of busing," he said. He said he did have an advertisement on the issue in response to what he called "false statements" by Governor George Wallace. Georgia's Jimmy Carter had accused Jackson of riding the busing issue to victory in Massachusetts. Jackson, Carter and Wallace have been campaigning hard for votes in Florida's March 9 Democratic primary.
