1967 Press Photo Striking transit workers picket Continental Trailways in MS

Two members of the striking Amalgamated Transit Union picket the Continental Trailways bus depot in Jackson, Mississippi, today. The union struck at midnight when negotiators in Alexandria, Louisiana, could not agree on a contract. The walkout affects nine states.
