Description
An armed British soldier keeps watch on Irish workmen as they wait to be searched near the Inglis Bakery, Eliza Street, in the market area of Belfast, Northern Ireland. The bakery had earlier been under siege for several hours as troops fought against snipers who had taken control of the building. A second British soldier lies on the ground using the bakery wagon for cover.
