Democratic presidential candidate Senator Henry M. Jackson, D-WA, listens to anti-busing demonstrator Thursday night at a rally in the Charlestown section of Boston a center of anti-busing sentiment. Foes of forced busing finally drove Jackson from the platform at an event billed as an "Irish Rally" for the Washington senator. Jackson who has been wooing the anti-busing vote for the Massachusetts primary tried to fend off the assault of demonstrators.
