1973 Press Photo Lasker Medical Research awards presented in New York

Lasker Medical Research Awards were presented Thursday at New York's St. Regis Hotel. Seated in back of Lasker Award Trophies is Dr. William B. Kouwenheven of Johns Hopkins University, Baltimore, Maryland, an award winner. Standing from left are: Mrs. Albert Lasker who presented the awards; Dr. Michael DeBakey of Baylor College of Medicine, Houston, Texas, a member of the selection panel; Senator Ernest F. Hollings, D-SC and Dr. Paul M. Zoll of Harvard Medical School, Boston, Massachusetts who was also an award winner.
